When I turn it off, Logic reverts to the Mac internal audio, and suddenly I get sound again through Logic, of recorded tracks and my MIDI keyboard. Logic Pro 8 always recognizes the M-Audio Fast Track Ultra device when it's on. I tried several restarts of the program, the Fast Track Ultra, the iMac. Yes, the iMac system volume still works, but no sound through the M-Audio Fast Track Ultra. ![]() I put in the original mic, and same thing, only sound out of output 1 from input 1, and sound out of output 2 from input 2.īut then double oh no! Now I get no sound at all out of Logic Pro 8. I plugged the mic into output 2, and now I only get sound out of only output 2. Oh no! Suddenly I only get sound out of output 1, whereas it used to come out of both outputs 1 & 2. ![]() I just unplugged the first mic and plugged in the second, same input 1, same outputs 1 & 2. Then tonight I decided to try out one of my other mics. I bought the Apple Pro Training Series Logic Pro 8 book, and have been working through the lessons - everything working perfectly, everything going great! Two weeks ago I bought a new iMac and Logic Pro 8, the M-Audio Fast Track Ultra audio interface, monitors, some mics and a midi keyboard, and set about recording music.
